What is your coverage area for Home Appliance Repairs?

We cover the whole of Gauteng but within a 30km radius from Sandton City, Johannesburg

What are your business hours?

We operate Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Including public holidays.

What types of appliances do you repair?

We repair a wide range of home appliances, including refrigerators, washing machines, ovens, stoves, dishwashers, dryers, microwaves, air conditioners, and more. If you’re not sure if we handle your specific appliance, feel free to contact us.

Which brands do you fix/repair?

We are dealer registered with most leading brands and our technicians are qualified to work on many different brands, including Defy, LG, Samsung, Bosch, Hisense, Smeg, Elba, KIC, etc

Do you charge a callout fee?

We charge a callout fee of R350, which is only payable if client does not give the repair job to OG Electrical Services. If client accepts quotation, the callout fee falls away

Do you offer on-site repairs, or do you take the appliance to a workshop?

Most repairs are done on-site at your home. However, in cases of major repairs, we may need to take the appliance to our workshop. We will inform you upfront if this is necessary.

Do you charge for a call-out if the appliance cannot be repaired?

We charge a nominal call-out fee for diagnosing the problem, which is waived if you proceed with the repair. If the appliance is beyond repair, only the call-out fee will apply.

How much will it cost to repair my appliance?

Costs vary depending on the type of appliance, the issue, and the required parts. We provide an upfront estimate after diagnosing the problem. Our pricing is transparent, and there are no hidden charges

Do you provide a warranty on your repairs?

Yes, we offer a warranty of 6 months on the parts replaced and on our workmanship.

Do you use original or generic parts?

We strive to use original manufacturer-approved parts for repairs. In cases where original parts are unavailable, we will use high-quality, compatible alternatives after discussing with the customer.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash, EFT, and card payments. Payment is due upon completion of the repair but a 50% deposit may be required for larger repairs of more than R2000
